Eligibility: Open to high school seniors, high school graduates, and currently�enrolled college students who are either members or the children, grandchildren, or other dependents of members of the association. Applicants must be planning to work on a college degree in any field of study at an accredited U.S. postsecondary institution or international equivalent institution. Along with their application, they must submit a transcript of high school or coll~ge grades (GPA of 2.5 or higher), a letter of recommendation, and a 300-word essay on why they believe they have talent or ability related to their academic major and career goal. Financial need is not considered. Financial data: The stipend is $1,500; funds must be used for tuition. Duration: 1 year. Additional information: This program includes the following named scholarships: the Chuck Peacock Honorary Scholarship, the Gene Baker Memorial Scholarship, and the Jim Cook Honorary Scholarship.
